Draft for legal review — to be finalised with counsel before commercial launch.

Terms of service

Draft dated 19 July 2026.

These terms explain how a request becomes a confirmed service, who is responsible for what, and what applies if something needs to change. Sardinia Society is in a pilot phase; the parts in brackets will be completed before commercial launch.

1. Who we are & scope

Sardinia Society is a coordination service, currently in a pilot phase. We arrange and coordinate stays, days at sea, tables, nights and transport in Sardinia through local suppliers.

We do not operate villas, boats, restaurants, venues or vehicles ourselves. Suppliers deliver their own services, under their own terms and their own responsibility.

2. Requests & confirmations

Submitting the request form is a request. It is not a booking and creates no obligation on either side.

Nothing is binding until you receive a written confirmation stating the specific service, dates and price.

  • We confirm only what we can genuinely deliver for your dates. If a supplier cannot be secured, we tell you rather than confirm and hope.

3. Fees & payment

Where a coordination fee applies, it is communicated to you in writing before any work begins.

During the pilot, supplier services — a villa, a boat, a table — are, where applicable, contracted and paid directly between you and the supplier. Our coordination role is separate from that payment.

We do not add hidden markups to supplier prices.

4. Changes & cancellations

Each written confirmation states its own change and cancellation terms for that service. These vary by supplier and by season, and are set out at confirmation, not buried afterwards.

Weather and other conditions outside anyone's control can affect boat days and outdoor plans. When this happens, we tell you honestly what can and cannot be rearranged, and pass on the supplier's position without softening it.

5. Client responsibilities

  • Give accurate information about dates, guest numbers, dietary needs, accessibility needs and anything else relevant to the request.
  • Respond to confirmations and approval requests within the time given — suppliers often hold availability for a limited window.
  • Follow the house rules of the villas, boats, restaurants and venues you are hosted by.

6. Our responsibility & limits

We answer for the coordination service we perform: making genuine requests to suppliers, passing on accurate confirmations, and being reachable on the channel you chose.

Suppliers remain responsible for the services they actually deliver — the villa, the boat, the meal, the driver.

Nothing in these terms limits any right you hold under mandatory consumer protection law. Whether EU rules on package travel apply to a given combination of services is [subject to legal review] and will be reflected here before commercial launch.

7. Privacy

How we handle personal data is set out in the Privacy notice, not repeated here.

8. Site content & IP
