The white-geometric villa — What to coordinate

Practical guide

The white-geometric villa

Cubic volumes, sharp lines and white render against granite and sea — Costa Smeralda's other founding style.

What to coordinate

Alongside Vietti's rustic collage style, other Costa Smeralda architects of the 1960s — Michele Busiri Vici among them — built in a purer geometric style: white cubic volumes, flat planes and sharp modernist lines set directly against granite and sea rather than dressed up as a hamlet. It reads as considerably more contemporary than the Mediterranean collage style, even where the buildings themselves are decades old.

If this is closer to what you have in mind than terracotta and arches, we filter for it specifically.
